Riddle me this. I get the flu all the time. Ok, like once a year. But to me that seems like way too much. I've never had a flu-shot, I think because somewhere someone told me it could make me paralyzed or something? I can't be sure, but I'm guessing there's a 50/50 chance. So I've stayed away. But I get the flu. Always.

But after the worst is over, and the nausea has ceased and I'm just left weak and exhausted. It's a type of needed escape. I drown myself in countless episodes of Grey's Anatomy (my new fave by the way, I mean McDreamy am I right??), and let C practice his doctor skills and get me saltines, Gatorade, Ginger Ale, and tuck me in while he does his homework in the next room. It's nice. And even though I feel a little rotten I like those times.

So this week I stopped my 300mph life, and just rested. No class, no dance, no nothing. And I liked it.

  1. I know what you mean. I got sick last week, and even though it wasn't fun being sick, the time off let me just take a step back for awhile. And it even helped sort out some things. Glad you're feeling better!

    1. Isn't it?! I'm glad you got to experience the good afterwards :)
